ABOUT TOP STORE, INC.

Top Store was incorporated in 1995 when owner Jim Eldred saw a need for a niche business in Chicago and Northeastern Illinois. Jim, having 20 previous years of automobile sales and service experience, started Top Store as a storage facility for hard tops.

As soon as the first few hard tops came in, Jim saw the need to provide additional services. Detailing, service and auto storage were quickly added.

In February of 2002, Top Store moved from a small warehouse on Hubbard St. to what is now a 27,000 square foot warehouse space on Hoyne Ave. Since moving into the space on Hoyne, Top Store has continued to expand its services, offering tire storage and minor body work, in addition to the administrative services we offer our clients.

In April of 2006, Top Store became an Illinois licensed Pre-Owned Vehicle Dealership. This provides us with the ability to offer tax credits on trade-ins, perform dealer trades and offer full license and title services.

As of March 2011, Top Store employs 10 full-time employees seasonal employees. The management team consists of Owner/President Jim Eldred and General Manager Kevin Dragotto.

Top Store looks forward to many more years of serving clients in Chicago and Northeastern Illinois and will continue to look for new and innovative ways to expand business and meet our clients automotive needs.
